Jamie has six years of experience working with nonprofits and NGOs, providing her skills in writing, editing, event staffing, and data entry. Over the last five years she has developed her skills in scientific writing in the realms of biology, chemistry, conservation, and environmental science. She also has experience in experimental design, field research, and research writing. This background lends itself to her specialization in technical writing, editing, and proposal development with an emphasis on the sciences.
She is an alumna of the University of Hawai'i (UH) Mānoa's Interdisciplinary Studies program, earning her B.A. with an emphasis in Environmental Studies. She has worked in a wide variety of professional capacities, from serving as a Resident Assistant to a Development Consultant. Jamie lives primarily in Hawai'i, but spends a few months of each year living and working abroad. In her spare time, she is dedicated to health and food sciences, and spends as much time in the great outdoors as possible.
